T-Star Center Director Yuan-Chen Sun and Professor Der-Hsien (Danny) Lien visited ACSENT Center in Atlanta, USA. They engaged in extensive academic exchanges with benchmark ACSENT Center and School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. This visit’s purpose was to explore and enhance research outcomes in future computing system performance, efficiency, and capabilities. The discussions focused on high-performance transistors, 3D stacking technology, heterogeneous integration techniques, and advanced 3D packaging technologies.

Led by Professor Suman Datta from the Georgia Institute of Technology, ACSENT Center specializes in resolving critical bottlenecks in semiconductor devices and enhancing device efficiency to meet the rapidly growing demands of contemporary semiconductor technology. They bring together experts and scholars from top research universities in the United States, covering a wide range of fields, including 3D stacking technology, advanced 3D packaging, heterogeneous integrated microsystems, and various VLSI technologies.
